This is Buhle

Good evening everyone.

My name is Buhle I am part of a twin her name is Amahle we both are 10 months old girls.

We have 2 siblings they are also twins, their names are Thando and Themba a boy and a girl they are 2 years old.

I am the one telling our story as I am the one who seems to be most upset.

I don’t really know what happened, it was like a normal evening, mommy put us to bed. When we woke up in the night mommy was not there. We cried so hard that we woke up Themba and Thando. They also started to cry, but quickly they stopped and calmed us down. We all fell back to sleep. When the sun came up and woke us by shining through the little holes on our faces.

The sun warmth our faces just like when mommy gives us a kiss.

But mommy was not there and soon everything felt cold and dark again.

We all cried and cried, mommy were are, we miss you. Mommy I’m sorry if we cried to much or were naughty, mommy I promise we will never do it again, that’s all I was thinking what did we do wrong.

Gogo (landlord) came in and me and my twin started to cry, we know this lady, she will know were our mommy is. She asked the bigger twins were mommy was but they are too small to answer so she walk out again.

We were scared and worried we did something wrong jow that gogo also walked away.

She came back with some porridge and was telling us that she is sorry fof what mommy did. We didn’t understand what she meant but we knew it was not good. Gogo promised thaf she would ask for help but she just wanted to wait a little in the hope mommy would return.

But mommy did and by mid day gogo brought all of us to the police station to ask for help as we couldn’t stay longer on our own. The police aas also upset and a long waited started.

I was the one that cried the most so they gave me a lid from a black label bottle, I held on to it like my life depended on it.

We were so scared, cold and alone, all we wanted was mommy but mommy didn’t want us?

The police lady messaged aunty Jo and told her we we have 2 twins. Aunty Jo said she is full but didn’t mind helping with the 2 babies for the night. The police lady smiled and typed back, no not two 4 babies 2x 10 month old 2x 2 years old. Aunty JO said wow but no problem.

The police put us in the car and we went on a long drive all the way to the Bluff. We were all crying, hungry, tired and so scared.

At the home they welcomed us with lots of cuddles and kisses which we did like yet. Mom Glynnis was talking to the police about paperwork and aunty Jo and aunty took us and made a warm bath with lots of bubbles for us. We were very very dirty but after our bath we were super clean and smelled like strawberries and cream.

We got clean pj’s and some nice lotion. We then are and had something to drink, me and my twin had a bottle of milk which we loved so much that we fried for more and you know what we got another one.

It soon was bedtime and we passed out all 4 of us.

Hopefully tomorrow will be much better.
