This is Lily

Good evening I am Lily I am nearly 8 weeks old.

Mommy I am sorry I made you so angry.

I am sorry that I cried maybe too much.

I am sorry mommy that I was in the way of your plans.

I am sorry, I really am.

The noise fades as everything goes dark.

My face is sore and my eye burns.

I can feel you can see it too.

You call your friend and I can feel she sees it too.

It must be horrible what I did that I deserve this.

You pick me up and with your friend we are going for a walk.

We pass houses were babes are held, kids laugh and adults dance

You pick up your pase, we reach a house with loud music and people dancing.

You don’t think twice, you walk up to their verandah, put me down and you both run away. I am so confused that I don’t even remember how to cry. I was just lying there outside in this cold weather. I could not remember how to cry, I just couldn’t.

The people inside had no idea I was there, but soon they will.

As time was moving by, I got really cold and teh pain in my face was too much.

And then I remembered, and 8 started to cry very hard. The people inside heard something and they came outside, where they found me. And this time as well I could feel that they saw it too.

They phoned the police and a very nice police man came. He took me to the hospital, where the Doctor had a look at me, not just my face but everything. He said I look OK just my face and eye. He gave me something for my eye and a thumbs up to go to Isiaiah 54 Children’s Sanctuary

When I arrived here Mom Glynnis gave me a bath and a nice bottle and aunty ajo gave me clothes and some panado for the pain.

I am know sleeping and we all hope I will have a good night.
